Wes grew up in the insurance business. After serving in the US Army, he joined General Insurance Agency in 1977 working with his father and uncle. As President of GIA since 1993, Wes has been working exclusively with emergency services organizations and has developed an abundance of industry knowledge. Being a volunteer firefighter himself and working with over 375 ESOs over the years, Wes always says, “there isn’t much you can get into that I haven’t seen or planned for before.” Wes has a combined 40+ years’ experience in the fire service and is a lifetime member of both Glenside Volunteer Fire Company and Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company.
Kevin joined GIA in 2014 bringing along 14 years of insurance industry experience with the Hartford Insurance Company, where he received several sales and underwriting excellence awards. Kevin is an active firefighter in Upper Milford Township, and in his 35 years of service, he has held several positions, including Assistant Chief and President. Having first-hand experience as a first responder is essential to properly advise and insure a fire department or emergency services organization. Kevin prides himself on excellent customer service, always being accessible to his clients, and turning new clients into friends.
Steve began his career with General Insurance Agency in 2004 as the Operations Manager. In 2010, he shifted his focus to policy management and is now a licensed insurance producer. Steve manages the policy renewals and provides ongoing support, policy maintenance, compliance, and claim reporting for all of GIA’s clients. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Temple University and an MBA specializing in accounting from Louisiana State University.
Linda is a seasoned Marketing Director. Bringing over 30 years of experience, she oversees the company’s marketing strategy, goals, sales, and initiatives. In addition to her marketing tasks, Linda is co-owner of General Insurance Agency and best known for her “famous” chocolate chip cookies which she always brings along to meetings. Amye brings 15 years of experience to the team, leading the Operations, Accounting, and Human Resource Departments at General Insurance Agency. Formerly an Elementary School teacher, she feels fortunate to have found an equally rewarding career path working with emergency responders. Amye strives to provide quality customer service in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable while effectively maintaining the day-to-day demands of a busy insurance agency.
Caryn began her career with General Insurance Agency in 2018. As a former Elementary School teacher, her attention to detail is second-to-none! Caryn assists with the daily operations of the agency, including policy issuance, billing, and marketing.
